    Answers to FAQs

To schedule your dental check-up, simply follow these steps

Step 1 – Fill in the above with your details

Step 2 – Briefly wait for our team to reach out to you

Step 3 – We’ll decide on the most suitable date and time for your appointment

Step 4 – On the day of your check-up, arrive at your scheduled time

First, we’ll review your medical history and carry out basic check-ups to ensure the exam is tailored to your needs.

Then, we’ll conduct a comprehensive screening of your gums, teeth, and jaw to check for visible issues, such as gum inflammation or decay. We’ll also assess your temporomandibular joint (TMJ) to identify any signs of strain, discomfort, or alignment issues that might contribute to jaw pain or headaches.

This is followed by an oral cancer screening, with a quick, non-evasive check of your mouth, tongue, and throat to catch any early signs of cancer.

Next, we’ll take digital x-rays to detect hidden issues, such as cavities, root infections, or alignment concerns. Considering your dental routine, specific needs, and lifestyle, we provide expert guidance and recommend follow-ups as needed.

Finally, we’ll review everything together, so you feel fully confident in your smile’s health.

A comprehensive exam is recommended periodically (usually every 1-2 years) to give a complete picture of your oral health, including hidden areas that may not be visible in a standard check-up. But basic check-ups should be a standard of every 6 months.

A full comprehensive exam typically takes 30-45 minutes. Now this might be longer than your typical basic check up, but don’t forget you’re actually saving more time in the long-term. With a full exam, you can spot problems early before they become complex, meaning less frequent visits.

Even without pain or visible issues, some dental problems can develop quietly and only become noticeable when they’re advanced. Our comprehensive check-up helps catch these “hidden” issues early, reducing the chance of needing more extensive and expensive treatment later on. Remember, prevention is always better than cure!

Not at all. We believe in transparent, patient-focused care, which means you’ll only receive recommendations that truly benefit your oral health. Our goal is to provide you with an honest assessment and help you feel confident about your dental health, without any sales pressure.

If we find any concerns, we’ll discuss all the options to help you prevent and manage issues. We’ll also work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your budget and schedule. Early detection often means simpler, more affordable treatment options.

We know sensitive teeth can make dental visits uncomfortable. That’s why we use a topical anesthetic to ensure minimal discomfort throughout the exam.
